In line with the European Union’s Sustainable Development Goals and our commitment to environmental protection, considerable efforts and investments are being made in this direction.
We are implementing an environmental policy aimed at reducing the impact of our carbon footprint in order to provide our guests a sustainable and responsible stay.
Sustainability and care for the environment are fundamental pillars of our project. For this reason, a 70,000 m2 photovoltaic park has been installed on the estate, generating 5.5 MGW/hour of power, which is capable of producing clean and sustainable energy for the town of Santa Margalida.
We also have additional solar panels that generate 10 KW/h and supply all our needs, such as the extraction of water from our own well using clean energy, the use of electrical appliances and air conditioning, among other services, all aimed at making the estate as self-sufficient as possible and thus reducing our carbon footprint.
Part of the machinery is being replaced in order to reduce fossil fuel consumption with new, more environmentally sustainable, rechargeable batteries.
Sustainability policy
“FincaVernissaNou”has:
• A charging point for electric vehicles.
• Recycling bins available to customers.
• A food waste reduction policy.
We have implemented a reduction in single-use plastics, such as shampoo and gel bottles, teaspoons and other plastic cutlery, straws, water bottles and other beverages served in these containers.
In terms of intelligent water use, all WCs use water-saving systems.
